    Default Server Cooling

Ok, whats the best Socket 940 air cooler? I've got a Dual Opteron 250 system in a ginormous case (Chieftec Mesh Series Case. I've also got 14 1 TB HDD in it. It runs 24/7, but it has an old Dual P3 system in it now.

I've had nothing but problems with TT coolers, my bad luck it seems. But Zalman has always treated me right. Figured I would ask, just in case.

    I was thinking of this

    Or This.

    Any other ideas?

True. But AC is whats on it now AC Alpine 64. I got those in Germany while I was there until Last Nov (Sniff sniff, I miss it. Schnitzel, Weizen, decent Audis.)

Anyways, Artic Cooling always struck me as really good coolers in performance, but lacking style. Of Course, this is a server, and NO ONE but me see's the inside of this thing.

But still, I will see it, thats why I'm thinking Zalman. Those have style. Of course, price-wise, the Alpine64's were cheap. 10 Euros each.

I completely forgot this thread. LOL. Anyways, socket 939 coolers fork on Socket 940. I have a bunch of matching coolers I found in a box I had on the shelf. matching Zalman CPNS 9500! W00t.
