    Default Memory woes.

Desktop decided it wanted to give me long beeps during post and would continue to beep until I shut it down. I jumped the CMOS plug over and back to reset and it booted right up.

Went in to bios to tell it there is in fact no floppy and it ran perfect. Shut it down for a couple of days and it's doing it again so I had to repeat the process.

I ran some diagnostics on the ram and showed up fine. Any clues?

Sounds like it might be a problem with the RAM clock settings. I've had a MBB do weird stuff like that before when it randomly decided to change the RAM clock speed on me..
