    Default Awesome motorized rollerblade project.

I feel like this should be somewhere else in the site, but since it's not my project, none of the other areas seemed to fit.

I ran across this on HaD about a week ago, and have been reading through the buildlog on and off for the past week. I must say, I have been incredibly impressed and motivated. I never realized how simple and relatively inexpensive brushless motors are to make....something involving brushless hub-motors has definitely made it onto my semi-long-term plans.

So, about the actual project. This guy has created several other small EVs (I think all of which are elsewhere on his site), and his latest is motorized rollerblades. For anyone familiar with the Air Gear manga/anime, it's along those lines, though I don't think they were the inspiration for it.

Anyways, this is something that has intrigued me ever since I first saw Air Gear, and his project has started me thinking about a slightly different implementation that has been rattling around my head for a while. I figured there would be at least a few people on here who would enjoy this.

I like this a lot and probably will read more into it as I'm currently needing some brushless electric motors for a plane, currently got some sensor less ones but need sensored ones...
