Open it up with a screw driver, and remove the electronics. Put it in the dishwasher. When completed, let it dry for a fairly long time. Re-assemble.

I've found that using old dentist tools work great for scraping gunk in small spaces. Never tried the dishwasher thing. Top rack only I'd assume.

I would do dissassemble it and clean it with a basic cleaner(non-bleach) then rubbing alcohol, but that's me.

Dishwasher lol never though of that. I guess it would work. I would put it in disstilled water and dry it so no residue is left. Personally.

Hahaha ewwwwww. Wipe your hands before you close out your pr0n videos. Or at least wipe any giant splooge stains off of the top of your mouse when you are done. That's absolutely foul man, good luck with the cleaning. I'd recommend a pot of water, at least 100 C for half an hour... yesch.

You can buy this stuff called "goo gone" that works fairly well. I also use a lot of rubbing alcohol on plastic.I've never had a problem with discoloration.

You guys would just be REALLY surprised what you can do with a dishwasher... The techs at my college actually let me in with a little secret of theirs... Well me and a bunch of others, this isn't really waht I would call a well guarded secret lol. When they have a keyboard that doesn't work because something has been spilt into it or something, they just pop it into the dishwasher (the whole thing, they don't even bother taking out electronics) and they work like new after that! I don't know the actual success rate of this method but I googled the method and most people who have used it (no soap, no heat-dry) swear by it... My friend studying computer science technology in the same college was also given the trick by his teachers (all old techs), he tried it at home and it worked! And as was mentionned earlier it's probably top tray only. I don't know about removing stickers with this method but yes you can put this kind of stuff in the dishwasher!

If you guys want another trick of the trade that I cought, try using WD40 to clean CDs and DVDs.

Talking about WD40 that could also work miracles on your mouse!

Goo Gone. It's a citrus based cleaner that works really well at removing tapes, glues etc.
