Hmm, you think I should animate it?
Please no. New one looks pretty sweet tho.

How can i prevent Those inverter horror stories
Buy a high quality PSU, buy branded inverters, and keep an eye on it. I think the problems come from low quality PSU's with varying voltages. At least, someone else around here mentioned that.

I'vewondered about the "Evil Cold cathode Fires" before too. I've got one blue one in my case...bought it in 2000 has ran for many hours (last 2yrs about non stop....Folding on that box ) with no issues. Granted that was before they started going for $10 for 2.

My words of wisdom, you get what you pay for. If the inverter has 2 outputs, use both of them (exposed HV is bad news), Never drive more then it's designed for (like trying to run a 12" on a 4" inverter). Mind your wires, little knicks, or cold/bad solder joints are bad news! for you and your PC (EMI is the least of your warries then).

    Good luck,

Oh and four is perfectly fine....Geezze these girls around saying that's too many...

Yeah, what's up with that? I'm ashamed of you guys. What the hell's the point in customizing something if you're going to say "oh, i don't want to take it too far..." It's yours, isn't it? Go nuts! If you want 20 cold cathodes and a fish tank, hell, better make it 20 cold cathodes, a fish tank, and a hamster on a bicycle, then that's what you stick in! Limits are for pussies!

Hmm... I wonder what it'd look like to make a hamster live in a computer. Assuming there's no shock risks and wires... like, the hamster wheel lighting a led or two when it'S being spinned... LOL And if he could "drink" in the watercooling tank... that'd be awesome Assuming you always keep the tank at a certain level...

So you can either buy a hamster pc or make one.

It was really weird, i bought some cheap-o cathodes online, and i found if i held them a certain way the wire going to the light would slightly move, causing my television to flicker. After that i kept getting these strange phone calls seeming to count down in binary. I take it as a good sign.
