    Default Bondo - UK equivalant?

Hey all, what's a good filler like the type of stuff bondo is that I could get at a place like halfords or B and Q?

I've got some filler from B and Q which is a multi purpose but i'm not sure if it's as durable as other will be.

You just need any old brand car body filler. Halfords should stock it.
Just ask for some car body filler from the guy behind the counter and they should be able to point you in the right direction.
You don't need the fancy fibre reinforced or steel reinforced stuff.

Isopon is the most widely available and i think that halfords do their own brand that might be a bit cheaper.

BTW ur filler from B&Q is probably just some kind of polyfiller for walls n stuff like that, not really worth 2 sh*tes for what your doing.

Thanks calumc, will have a look at the isopon, though if halfords do their own then i'll probably get that.

does that mean it IS worth one sh1t?

I don't know why you guys can't just call it the same thing. There is NO SUCH THING as aluminium, candy floss, porridge, ice lollys, nappys, dummys, push chairs, climbing frames, conkers, plasters, ladybirds, naughts and crosses, trousers, trainers, rubbish (XD), flats, lifts, torches without fire, or my favorite: roundabouts...

I'm sorry, but those words confused me for the longest time...

OT - sirkillalot617 is spot on with the part # u need in the uk

OT - dave, i think someone is havin a pop at us brits and the use of language (lets gettim! jk jk)

    aluminum
    cotton candy
    ice pops
    diapers
    pacifiers
    pants
    sneakers
    garbage
    elevators
    flashlights

are commonly used in the US instead of some of the words he listed, they're the ones i could work out in my sleepy state , but lets not get into the whole 'US bastardisation of the english language' debate eh?

trouble is bondo is a brand name not a regional colloquialism (i should probably capitalise the b in bondo before the gramma police turn up hehe)

I had guessed at that, but it's still one of the most useless contributions i've seen in a while.

On Topic, avoid the stuff in my worklog. It's really not suitable for this kind of work, and dries more like metal than a plastic. I had a lot of trouble with it.
