    Default Ultimate gaming RAM?

Nice to be around here again, i have been quite busy lately and did not have much time to drop by...

Sry to post this here but I did not find a section for RAM...

I am saving up to buy me a top of the line comp... I am just not sure what brand I would go for for RAM... I know I want 2 chips of 2GB each... Just to give you a hint, this is what I would be going for under the hood if I was buying it today... NOTE: This build will pretty much be on a price is not an object budjet and that is why I am saving up. all parts listed below are available locally to me which is a plus.

    Processor: Intel QX6700
    Mobo: Asus Striker Extreme
Video cards: DUAL (yes two of them) BFG GeForce 8800 GTX OC2
HDD1: Western Digital Raptor X 150GB (With window edition)
HDD2: Some much bigger drive for extra storage (not sure which I would go for)... something like 750GB
Power Supply: Enermax Galaxy DXX 1000W
    Case: Antec Nine Hundred

Other than RAM am I missing anything? Nope I think that's it... Though i'm also thinking on replacing the stock CPU cooling... It will still be air cooled though.

I know that this is all overkill but that is what I am looking for!

Anyways, here is the website for the store where I get my stuff from: Memory Express

If the prices on there seem weird to you, keep in mind that they are in canadian $...

Am I understanding this correctly? You want 2 sticks of RAM with 2GB one each stick? Well, if you are only going to shop on that site, I only see 3 kits that meets that.
    Mushkin
    OCZ Vista Performance Edition
    OCZ Vista Upgrade Edition

Out of the 3, the Mushkin kit is the better deal because it costs less money and the timings are slightly better.

I'm not ONLY shopping that site but that site is a little better for me because it is local... Feel free to move away from the site if it suits you... I will find a way to get them to me! I just don't want to be ordering in ALL my parts or running all over the place for them.

Edit: Oh and btw... you missed these Or is there a reason why they were left out?

But that's if you want to spend that much (and if you do you're crazy).

like the others have said yeah thay rig is way overkill.. like with the dual 8800gtx's.

i dunno what you are going to do with this rig but it would seem to me that you would only need one of the 8800's one on there own pack one hell of a punch.

plus if you are going overkill on the gfx why not do it on the ram?

im not trying to shoot down a plane just being realistic an extra 500 quid to most people for a second 8800 wouldnt do much.

lol but i would love that rig my self just that it cost almost the same as a good second hand car xD
