Any way to make the lights look like the DNA strands? By lights I mean either the water cooling tubing or the cable lights.

I think this is a great idea. You could make a res that has the genetic strands slowly spiraling in the middle of the tube/tubes with LEDs lighting them up from the bottom/up.

When the computer starts to work harder, you could have a color scheme that changes from like blue to red and bubbles coming up from the bottom of the tubes with the genetic strands in them.. This part of my idea might be a bit harder to achieve, so even just the color scheme changing would be cool.

Getting it to change colors and start the bubbles would be the hard part I would think. Just set it up with both leds, that parts easy. And making the bubbles would be easy too. Just use one of those bubble creators for an aquarium. The hardest part would be the activators for it.

You could have it do it when you opened up a drive or something. There might be away to do it from a program standpoint to, but that would be pretty tough.

The only thing that I don't like though is the bubbles in the res itself. It would look cool sure, but in a watercooling loop you want to get all the airbubbles out, not introduce more air into the system. Even if after it looks like there isn't any air in the system as its going through the loop, the water is airated. At a molecular level you have more air close to those water molecules, and your cooling efficiency will go down. By how much, who knows...

but ehhh, it would look sick.
