here is another fun one for you forensic fans...

You are a detective called to the scene of a crime, here is what you find...

A man was found murdered one Sunday morning and his wife immediately called the police. The police questioned the wife and staff and was given these alibis:
-The Wife said she was in bed reading a book.
-The Cook claimed she cooking breakfast.
-The Gardener claimed he was planting seeds.
-The Maid claimed she was getting the mail.
-The Butler claimed he polishing the silver.

You arrest the murderer. Who did it and how did you know?

Do people get mail on Sunday Morning?
People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.

here is another one, little tougher..

Five hundred begins it, five hundred ends it,
    Five in the middle is seen;
First of all figures, the first of all letters,
    Take up their stations between.
Join all together, and then you will bring
Before you the name of an eminent king.

I didn't think so. Besides, its the butlers job to "fetch" things, the maid cleans things, not the butler (unless all you have is one or the other). At least, thats my understanding of it. Regardless though, my answer would have to be the maid, as there is no mail on Sunday mornings, so she couldn't of possibly been fetching the mail. Unless of course, it was day old mail or something, but no one who can afford all those people would allow such a thing as that.

Hey, I think I finally found the sort of riddles I'm good at! ^_^

...the easy ones, that is. :p

the riddle is emphasizing 5 words:
    -glass
    -jet
    -tin
    -boxed
    -you
The "tiny creatures with different features" are found within each of these things or words. They are all containers. Technically, bacteria is correct but I don't think that is what the riddle is teasing out. I'll keep working.

    I turn polar bears white

and I will make you cry.

I make guys have to pee

    and girls comb their hair.

    I make celebrities look stupid

and normal people look like celebrities.

    I turn pancakes brown

    and make your champagne bubble.

If you squeeze me, I'll pop.

If you look at me, you'll pop.

    Can you guess the riddle?
    The answer is no.

bah! you jerks are too damned smart for my puzzles (or you are finding them on google )

DAVID is indeed the correct answer!

And for Drum's riddle, grrrrr, it was right infront of me and I missed it! Nice! (assuming that is correct, but it does make sense)

So can you solve the chem riddle? You won't find that on google, I assure you.
