Then in the middle of the ocean, i managed to fight of a killer shark even though my oar was broken and huge storm with high tides was goin on.Then i managed to fight off a polar bear in the dead of winter at the south pole, even when i had a horrible cold with no weapons. Pretty amazing eh!"

How do you know hes lying?
    He's a jackass.

It's always winter at the south pole, and there are no polar bears there.

High tide isnt relevant in the middle of the ocean.. it's only relevant in reference to land.. plus, sharks prefer warm, coastal waters. During storms, they would be in the deep, away from the storms.

The pits of Africa would refer to some very deep and remote forested regions. Lions are not found in that environment.

But I'm serious.. he's a jackass if he's telling a story like that.

This is pretty good, we've combed through that thing several times and still haven't solved it.

Here is one that is still on the table...

You have four drinking glasses and you are asked to arrange them on a table so that the center of each glass's base is the exact same distance from the other three. How will you arrange them?

    I know that one Jon.

There's a similar one with 4 coins, and each coin has to touch every other coin.

Haha.. I know. If one of my friends told a story like that, I'd call him a jackass to his face.

Put them each on their sides with the bottoms equidistant from a point on the table in a circular formation.
