Not to be a wet blanket here, but...

John Denver singing makes me cry far worse than looking into the sun.
Light does NOT make me pee.
My SO combs her hair way before the sun pops over the horizon.
Celebrities do not need sunlight to look stupid.
Heat turns pancakes brown.
Light does NOT make Champagne bubble, release of pressure does.

I think sometimes I read too much into riddles and stump myself.

...on a side note. In the Adult Swim Ad to the side of the page, the one that is all static screen looking, is there something there or is it just me? Like one of those pictures you get really close to, then slowly pull away to reveal a picture. Idk, I can just see lines, and they almost look like they form a picture or something...

Hmmm, I can even imagine seeing words now.. maybe not like full actual words, but a collective of hidden lettering or something. Subliminal messaging?? or maybe I just need to go to sleep... lol

The interesting catch is that that question is actually used in psychoanalyzing people.
For some reason, normal people cannot grasp the concept, but sociopaths get it INSTANTLY!
Tell the riddle at work and be careful accepting rides from the quiet guy who gets the answer.

That is, according to my sources, the correct answer.

I was going to go with valve also. A lock wouldn't let either through one way and would let everything through the other. But a valve would allow passage in one way or the other, without necessarily letting anything back. Much like a flowback valve.

Now, according to me, I like this answer much better. lol

I just thought of a neat idea. How bout someone create a riddle where the answer is "a riddle", but try and make it really hard? I couldn't even make an easy one, so good luck with that. lol

I don't think making a riddle with the answer being "a riddle" would work, least not to post here. Everyone knows that the answer to one of the riddles would be "a riddle" so just guess that on any riddle.

Be cool to see a riddle like that though.

I think you weren't reading into it enough... example the champagne bubbles. yes, it is by carbnation, etc, etc, etc, but in riddlease you could say that it wasn't until the cork popped and light got into the bottle that the bubbles were there... like the dead cat-alive cat in the box thing.
