    Default Project: Long Term Mod

Hi everyone. I was following this Forum for a year now and finally registered myself. First of all i would like to say that i don't see myself to be able to create such impressive cases as you do but i will do my best and I'm willing to learn .

This is my first modification ever and as I don't have an exact plan what I'm going to mod, how I'm going to mod and what i can effort to mod .... I called this Project: Long Term Mod.

My first idea was to put a nice Plexi window into my right sidepanel, and that's what I started with.

This is my Case: Nothing special

I took some tape to show what should be gone

    Dremel

And two hours and 3 sawblades later

    Thats it for today

Tomorrow i will do some filing and hopefully cut the plexi, after the metal in my lung is gone

If i forgot something just ask. My head is empty cause it's too late

Gee, it damn sure took me long enough to find and add the origin of the first quote...

    Thanks for your responses.

Today I went to file but forgot my camera so i can only give you some ugly mobile pics.

Here is the Plexi I bought 2mm thin

I'll do the cutting and drilling of the holes later today

    Till then good modding

Did quite a lot in the last couple of hours. Holes, plexi and paint.

    Here is the Plexi

Bought some black spray paint ...

... and painting the sidepanel to banish scratches

I also painted my Hdd bay. Don't have any before pics but it was a typical grey bay

The screws I'm going to use

    And the corresponding nuts

This is the Enermax Everest 120mm Fan for the sidepanel

The Side panel came out pretty nice

Now i have to wait until it's dry

    More to come tomorrow
