Woot! Level 7 and now I own a castle, some other weird place that I haven't been to yet and a place where the original worshipers of sithis resided, even before the black hand. Its as southern as you can go on the map. And it comes with my very own minion! Sweet!
People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.

...and...I just realized that I don't know Cyrodiil anywhere near as well as I knew Vvardenfell... because I didn't even know I could get a castle :*(

This is the first time I've been able to get a castle. I started the game and a quest instantly started telling me that I had to go and defeat a bunch of baddies bombarding the castle and if I did, I got to keep it.

I keep forgetting to check the land/place I inherited too. That quest popped up right after the castle quest. Same with the black hand-ish place way way far down south at the brink of ocean and land. Can't remember what its called.

I spent the last hour fighting the last series of fights in the arena. I am now grand champion. Now to complete some more quest.

What all do you get from doing that? Any good items or just gold or?

I got a awesome set of armor (your choice of heavy or light) about 8k in gold total and thats about it. every one was easy as crap to beat too. even the last guy the "grand champ" begged me to kill him. Tip: do his quest before you fight him.

Man, I actually had to turn my difficulty down a tad. It would probably help if I knew where to get more health potions or a better health spell, I can't keep up now without getting hacked to death. But I got past the twins and then a bit later the dark elf. Hit the third ranking, whatever thats called and leveled two times so far. That's worth its wait in gold alone! Pretty good for an hours work.

    what weapon are you using?
I have been using a Steel Sword and will usually hit my opponent 4 or 5 times with a fire ball before attacking with the sword.

I need a decent quest to do now. Any suggestions?
