While an SSD would be awesome, I can't see that I need it right now-my systems are well beyond what most have, so I'm content to enjoy what I have.
You're gonna make me go digging for goodies to give away yet.

I think I might give away an LCD too

Sure, give me the stuff I NEED, but give away other things that would be helpful to me! lol.
But I can't complain about free.
I can't say I need a new monitor, but it would be great productivity wise. I have three LCD's hooked up currently, but two of them are pretty sad. I pulled my 17" one out of a recycling pile and replaced some caps and fuses to get it working again. My 15" one came with my family's Pentium III desktop 12 years ago, and boasts a spectacular 200:1 contrast ratio.
MY 17" LCD... I have no idea what's wrong with it. Whether the controller board is fried or the LCD itself...
As for my 15" LCD, it's from a laptop. Needs a controller, and I know where to get one.
My main setup is dual 17" NEC CRTs.
So sad; my new graphics card is 3D capable, and it's going to power two tube monitors
*Edit: You can see how excited I am about it.... "My system"
Heh, a 24" monitor wouldn't fit onto my desk! Not that I need one, I'm happy with my dual monitor setup currently, a 22" (16:10, 1680x1050) and a 20" (16:9,1600x900) monitor. One for coding, the other for datasheets or references. I'll be happy when I can use it tomorrow to do the CAD models of the parts I need for an assignment.
