Teamspeak is basically an IM with only voice for use in video games, etc. to add the the teamwork-ness and make it easier to chat.

so i take it that its better than ingame ones?! i mean how CS:S and DOD:S have a key command for mics

its a backround program that works behind all games. It does add teamwork into the factor, but it is also a good way to just socialize while you surf the web, listen to music, or anything else you can possibly think of

Yeah TS is a voice communication tool, but it isn't an IM client, it's a chat client because you're in a room of people or 'channel' as apposed to talking to each person individualy. Yes, it is much, much better than the in-game versions as you only talk to your friends/clan so you can give tips on where people are on the map etc. Also, when you stab someone you can mock them, and when you teabag them afterwards you can make the sound effects

If anyone needs help setting TS up to connect to Ichbin's server, give me or him a shout!
