    Just wondering is all.
I don't currently have a car to drive, but I do have a few bikes and a Vespa and thought I'd see how many others are out there.

    ...You'd buy a Harley-Ferguson sport tractor?

I'm pretty sure that the VRSC part of the model name in the H-D V-Rod stands for Vaguely Resembles Something Contemporary

When I was 12, my cousin was killed in a bike accident. That scared me away from ever getting on one. That's not to say that I can't appreciate a nice bike. Discovery Channel solidified that with American Chopper and all of the biker build off contests. I love watching what goes in to building a bike. It's truely the ultimate art form.

I would like a nice sport bike but thats about all i like as far as bikes go. I dont think that i would ever actually buy one though... I just know that if i did, there would be that constant temptation to take it down the highway at 200 mph and i would probably end up getting hurt or killed. I still like to look at them though. Maybe some day i will buy an underpowered one.

Don't let that put you off riding. Sure there is a risk, but a lot of people die in car accidents too. Riding really is a thrill, whether it's along great roads on a trip, or just a hop down to the shops.

I was t-boned in 2005 by a driver who didn't see me and I was back on the bike before I was off crutches..

    Lighten up a little.
The V-Rod is the best Harley there is going. I wouldn't buy one as I'm not a Cruiser fan, but if that engine was put in a Buell I would seriously consider buying American.
The cost is still something else though. HD's really are over priced for what you get.

Hey welcome Bucko another fellow Aussie we are slowy envading the forum. Yeah I don't like them I was always scared as it is just you and engine and the elements. I also came off a farm bike and ended up in a tree but it had lots of low branches. So thats why I drive a car that can ram little cars and bikes off the road.

Here's my most recent bike, sold now since I've moved back to the UK.

Before that I had a Bonnie, and long before that (1985) I had this:
