Something weird... ???

Umm, ok, this is odd...maybe there's an upgrade going on I don't know about or something? Anyways, I used the 'search' thing to try and find the spam reporting thread, and, well, first off I got strange results...then, whenever I clicked on one of those results, it took me to a weird looking layout:

But, when I go to the main page/etc, it still looks normal.

Also, idk if this makes a difference, but I recently upgraded to FF4...though, my other system with FF4 has never showed this behavior... wtf?

Ok, so not all of the search results do it..just some of them..here's one:

..and, in posting that link, it occurs to me that the url has 'vb4forum', not 'forum'..but, if I change it to 'forum', it says the page doesn't exist. When I add 'vb4' to my UserCP, it takes me to the different view, and links that I tried to some threads worked, and kept the different view, but if I try and change the url of a thread to 'vb4forum', it doesn't always work. ...I'm confused...

Any idea why search results are strange then? Or why I'm getting links to vb4 pages in the search?

They weren't strange, they were exactly what Google found. I mirrored the existing forums (back in 2009) to a folder called vb4forums and upgraded it to Vbulletin4. When Google crawled our site, it found the vb4forums folder and indexed it. So when you did the search there was criteria that matched your search located in the vb4forums folder. I have removed the test vb4forums folder so you shouldn't get any results from there now.

Huh, ok, I guess I just never happened to click on any links to the folder in a search before.

Maybe Google changed something in the way they index sites recently to make those vb4forum links show up more. Not sure what was going on with those results, but I removed the test site so even if they do show up, they are dead links.
