Socket 775 proc, im assuming a quad core with the amount that he spent on a cooler.

I figure i'll keep the case and HDD, and part it out... what do you guys think?

Sounds like a good deal. Did they have it up and running? Make sure it's working fine before you get sucked into a potentially bad situation.
This makes me want to check my local pawn shops...they're everywhere around here.

I am still running a 775 gaming rig but really only need a new video card... (I do most of my gaming on my laptop TBH).

oh i intend to give it a full rundown before i buy it... i feel like its either been sitting there for a long time, or that pawn shop needs to hire me asap, because the computer guy there is missing a few screws.

All of them.

While they (usually) only carry 10-year-old-plus parts, you can get some SWEET cases and parts!


I found ModCron there. Begged for me to buy him.
And at only $20 for a not bad (except for ME ) machine, a very nice SBLive, it was an offer too good to pass up.

I would say definitely jump on that system. Just the case itself is worth at least half the price.
