I'll definitely try that. I have to spread some rep around before I can give it to you. Thanks for the tip.

That's a neat trick, never would have thought of that.

So here's my lighting idea. I was contemplating going with red, but I think that with the blue innards, I'm afraid it would wash out as purple. What I'm going to do is mount 4 led's behind the motherboard. According to an LED calculator I found, I can run it off of the 12v rail with a 1/4w resistor. What do you guys think?

um hey thats cool, the resistors take one fpr every led, use 1/4 w as you said and they have 470 ohm for 12 volt or 220 for 5 V

Oops.. That's true for parallel. I'm going to run them in series. Proably should have specified that. +rep for lookin out for my LED's.

This project is still alive guys. I was digging around in the garage, and found some 3M fine cut rubbing compound. So, I decided to give it a try. I still have A LOT more to do, but I thought I would fill you in on some progress shots.

I've been doing some more work on the polishing. It's no where NEAR done yet, but it's starting to look REALLY good. Unfortunately, the pictures don't do it justice. My fricken arm hurts!
