Heheh, I think I see where you're going. Looking awesome. I love the weird blend of technologies in Last Exile; I'll be really interested to see how this thing turns out.

I didnt ask where it's from, I asked what it is.

Something steampunk from Last Exile doesnt really answer that question.

Ah, I see what you mean now. (didn't see your post till just now haha)

Well, it's obviously a great mystery!

I'm curious to know what the purpose of this project is now too though.

People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.

Filimon is actually quite a chatty person back on his home forum in Russia. The Russian crowd banters back and forth just like we do in project logs.

and no I don't speak Russian, I just admire their work. Google translate gets some of the threads kind of right.

Hmm.. glass or acrylic rods in those spaces would look cool, especially if the LED's below were animated in some sort of sequence.

HDD activity maybe? Watercooling reservoirs? Some kind of motorized, rotating.. umm.. things?

Oooh, I was just wondering the other day what was happening with this

As always, mad props for the beautiful work. It's finally shaping together and starting to look like the real thing (well, at least what I think it is you're shooting for).
