dont know if its intentional, but i LOVE the form of the a and f! solid colour would look bad IMO, but you could try and redo it, with a smoother fading between the two blues?
is that a 120.9 raddy on your case, or are you just happy to see me?

It was intentional as the lettering looks that way to start, not to that degree though. I need some more practice with the airbrush before I go further, but I'll probably end up redoing it.

Thanks for your input guys. Keep it coming.

After some thought and staring at the paint job, I've decided I'm unhappy with it. I'll be redoing it starting with the masking tonight.

After 3 total attempts with the lettering, I have finally gotten something I'm happy with. After some cleanup I'll post some pics; hopefully tonight.

So instead of taking pictures last night of the side panel to the case, I decided to re-make my reservoir... and make it BIGGER. i'm at work now, but I'll post some pics of both tonight.

    Alright boys and girls...

As promised, here are the pics of my progress thus far.

The lettering on the side panel needs a little clean up. It's kinda plain from the earlier attempts, but I think it matches the case better. A little bit of clean up/touch up work and it'll be good to go.

The second build of a much larger reservoir. This one came out alot better than the other one I did. I was going to use a danger den fill port, but I have no way to install it now... I wasn't thinking when I glued the top piece in place. So instead I'll use a G1/4" threaded plug and install an LED in it to make this puppy glow. ...hopefully

Posible mount location... Any ideas for another spot??

Very much like what you have done!
Question: Do you apply paint directly over the case letters without any prep sanding or cleaning? What brand of paint did you use? I would like to paint my HAF case letters as well! Thanks!

    Thanks Joker.

For the third attempt, I put down 2 light coats of primer and 3 light coats of blue metallic paint. Overall it came out quite decent. I highly recommend the liquid mask. If you use it, be sure to apply the mask quite heavely. The thinner areas of the mask were a little more difficult to remove and caused a little bit of scuffing when I was removing it. That's some of the scuffing you see around the letters; most noteably beneath the 'A'.
