I just noticed the bugger and tried the Ban and Clean button. Registered more than 45 days ago, so I gotta go purge the crap manually.

I kinda like another forum's method of fighting spam: Don't fill out the profile page until after registration is complete. If you do, automatic denial of registration.

Awww... I think the fail spammer is cute. He's not like the other ones that dump 45 posts an hour everywhere. Think I'll mess with him a little and change his sig to "I am a fail spammer."

This is the primary reason why I've got moderator status. I'm in here a couple times a day and will ban hammer these bozos. If you see a particularly offensive one just getting started, ping me on FB messenger and I'll get it cleaned right up. Always feel free to call in the orbital spammer railgun.
