    Default Wire Management

Today I thought i should sort out my wires in my puter mainly because I'm a perfectionist and i like to have things done right so i took out my HD and DVD-RW + floppy then re-routed all my IDE cables and power leads all round teh back of my case ..

    picks below

So after fiddle ass routing my cables around my case for 20 mins and a pepperoni pizza the wiring is done next step is to get my New DVD-RW and a new GFX card + another stick of RAM since one just when up the shoot last night ...bloody thing

very nice case, great attention to detail... only one small thing which bugs me... The little converter-box for the lights. You should either try to hide it or maybe paint it (black I think).

and maybe you could change the wires for your power button and leds (bottom of mobo). It now hangs a bit in the case. maybe you could make them go behind the mobo, under the drivebay and up to the front. Or maybe your wires aren't long enough...

But other than those small details, VERY nice job

lmao. nice. Could use a personal touch... Think of something creative and original to do to it (sorta like a "signature").

i really like the AMD cut out, mind if i steal that idea for my comp?

back to the pc world thing, i went in once looking at prices for HDD. i overheard a pcworld dude telling this guy that his pc was bum because it didn't have onboard usb (this was a few years ago) and that they didn't have a product that made it so his pc would work. after the pcworld dude left, i went over to the guy and pointed out a pci card for 25 quid, then told him that he could get it cheaper online if he wanted!

as for scan.co.uk, fantasic company, good delivery times (although quite annoying if you only have a debit card since they insist you put down your home address and have it delivered there) aside that though, the delivery is on time and within the boundries of the instructions you set. the product range is good and they're always ready to help you if you have a problem.

i don't like overclockers.co.uk anymore. they seem to charge too much for everything, plus that i get free delivery from scan. another good one to look at is yoyotech.co.uk who are based in central london. if you can get there (it's just down tottenham court road) then you can get web prices on the highstreet, plus they're always ready to do a deal, so sometimes you can get it cheaper than the web, which is nice. they also stock some good items for gamers and know what they're talking about since they're all trained to know what goes with what and they have a tech support guy (who smells pretty bad) on hand all the time to answer your questions should you need him, but in fairness, the sales assistants can do that job pretty well.

got my new mobo from scan. 210 quid on highstreet, 156 in yoyotech, 152 from scan. nice!!

I have an idea . Make a stencil with an exacto-knife (I have a swivel one :p) and cut out the AMD logo w/ a square outside. Spray it on, and get a little around the edges to give it a defined look. You could use your screenname too (WOOT AIM).
