OK, so I'm posting this idea because I don't have time to build something this big and I don't have much money to mod things too. So I'm not actually building this, though I initially had planned I would.
So here's the first picture. It's a render from SolidWorks of the whole case.
I planned to have three 120mm fans in the front. One optical (DVD) drive as I don't usually use more than one at the same time. And at the very top of the front I had planned three gauges, displaying the CPU-temp, Water-flow-rate and another (not sure what)
At the side there is a huge bulb which I had planned to be the resevoir for the watercooling. The res would be suspended in the side, leaving a bit room for a custom shaped window.
Next is a picture of the case without the sidepanel. I planned on having the sidepanel hinge at the bottom. This is possible if all the tubing is routed to the bottom...
In the next picture you can look a little better at the insides of the case.
As you can see the bottom two fans in the front will be used to cool the water by using a 2x120 radiator. The pump would be placed behind the radiator (not in picture).
There is also a fan at the back to take care of the heat produced by the mobo (and other not water cooled stuff).
At the top you can see I have designed a custom bay-thing for the gauges, the optical drive and three HDDs. The bay is also on the next picture:
and to make it complete here's another picture, the PSU
I hope you enjoy this design! If you like the design please let me know, I had some other things worked out too. Maybe I can give some more tips...
Ow BTW, I designed the thing myself so it is not based on some case. I wanted to build it from scratch (worked out how too...)
