    Default not so compaq

    well after the last power supply didn't fit in my case i figured it was time to go with something a lil more roomier , so i picked this up from a neighbor who had no use for it , it was referred to as a compaq , but im really not sure.
    any clue?



    first order of business start poppin rivets and cuttin metal ,

    I don't think that was ever a compaq. Looks an awful lot like some generic cases I was using back when an Athlon 1200 was high-end....

    I could be wrong, I often am..... He may have had a compaq which was rebuilt in this case - that could explain the description.

    well i think we can all agree, whatever it was , im making it mine now. i managed to get some work done , in between other projects i have going on. but i managed to secure the pci slot bays and i/o "bay" and raise the motherboard tray so that everything fits where it should in its new place. im not to concerned with how clean the edges are right now , im more concerned that things fit right. wish i had a better camera , but this is better then nothing.






    i removed all the drive bays , as they're being relocated to the bottom of the case

    hopefully i can get some more work done on it over the weekend.
