    Default First (PC) Mod

Ok guys i just started my first mod last week havent really done much to it

Ive cut the side panal, but made some bad dents around the cut i was wondering the best way to get them out.

And i was thinking about some internal paint, but i was wondering if i could paint my HDD or would that be a bad idea

And also im looking for water cooling but dont know what to go with, im looking for somthing that will keep my PC cooled and also is at a good price

    Thanks Tyler

best way to take out dents is with a hammer and a block of wood. flatten the dent, apply bondo, sand, another layer of bondo, sand, then flexible primer, primer, paint, then your done.
if you wanted to paint your HDD make sure to tape off crucial parts [power and data connectors]. ive never painted a HDD [might want to check with someone else] but ide put on a THIN layer of paint for heating purposes.
there are some Links floating around these forums talking about WC. look around or use the embedded search tools.

if you're talking about painting the top cover of the hdd just make sure you cover the little hole in it

A word of advice, if you decide to try and paint a HDD practice first. Find an outdated HDD that no one needs or is using. Make sure it works. Then try painting it and see if it still works. Only issue that won't cover would be heat, new HDDs are probably hotter than older HDDs.
