Default Getting all THAT into an iMac g5 case?

    OK, it's official.

I am going to be (attemting to be) the world's first person to fit PC components into an iMac G5 case.

I need your help to find the right parts to fit in there, interfacing fans and placing ports.

The biggest thing is getting the right hardware. Cooling will be a BIG challenge. I want this to be as stealth as possible.

I have a 5mm*~60mm*~60mm piece of copper that might be able for heat diversion for the procy.

And, we need to find a proper LCD controller.

My plan is, the biggest difference you would notice is that the mini VGA port would be upgraded to HDMI.

This is the Rev2 case. Three screws at the bottom, hinge at the top. No iSight, no ALS, PPC procy.

Have you checked out the hackintosh forums? There are lots of threads on putting PC's in Mac cases, in their case for the purpose of running Mac OSX on their own hardware.

I've got a G4 that I was thinking of doing that to as well.

Hmmm, I was thinking of the G4 iMac...and I know that's been done before. I don't know of a G5 iMac transplant though. Should be interesting.
