Unfortunate news, my source of income has gone as i was recently laid off, till i get a new job, no money means no parts, no parts means no mod .so until i get a new job dont expect any updates

Hooray an update...of sorts
since my last update i have figured how to mount the power switch(no pic) then given the cube another coat of black.

and glued the little memory flaps in place. (yes i know horrid pic, need a new camera)

And the biggest update of all...I have a job YAY, yea i know its a small gig as a barista at starbucks but hey its a job. so expect an update within a month

Small update, got a package in the mail today, not sure if ill use one for this project or not.
Today arrived 3 Viewsonic 15" LCD Flat Panels
Heres one of everything from the box

Well, you could mount them together and let the GameCube have a DisplayTriangle. Or get another LCD and make a DisplayCube. This wouldn't exactly be the most functional for you, but it'd be cool.

Hmm I have a thought on the optical drive. Although I am not sure it would work because of the gamecube uses minidisks. Anyways my first thought would be to take a normal laptop optical drive, strip it of it's shell and mount it where the gamecube drive is normally. But I dont think normal 120mm CD/DVD disks fit, I remember contemplating buying a replacement case because it was clear, and all of them were modified so you could fit a normal size DVD inside. Would be kind of a waste to get one of those at this point though.

As do I, it's sitting beside me as I type this. But dont you guys fear it has not been forgotten for when i get paid this friday i will be buying the parts and finishing it so look out fellow modders for this mod will be ending soon.
