Hehehe, yup, scrapple. Basically think of it like this:
Animal goes in to butcher shop
    1) All proper meat cuts get taken away.
    2) All 'delicacy' cuts get taken away (hooves, tongue, etc).
    3) All the random, usable bits get taken away for sausage/etc.
    4) Anything that's left gets ground up in tiny bits and compressed into a block...that's scrapple.

It sounds absolutely disgusting, but if you slice it real thin and pan-fry it, it's actually really good.

+1 heavy on the sage. My family used to make it when I was a kid. Amazing stuff!

I agree. I've had Indian food and love it, and I recently had Ethiopian food in Little Ethiopia in Los Angeles for the first time. It was amazing!

As far as weird things go, my sister used to like taco sauce on BBQ'd salmon, and peanut butter on cold corn tortillas.

I sometimes do the BBQ sauce on the side with Mac-n-Cheese as well. Or sometimes a little bit of ketchup. The SO usually says "gross" and looks at me like I'm an alien. Not like I am putting it all over the top, just dipping a forkfull lightly into it.

Usually only happens when we try and do that as the main meal instead of as a side. I just don't like having the same flavor/texture as an entire meal.

Regedit'ed, Rooted, and Jailbroke anymore questions?
Here’s a bumper sticker I’d like to see: “We are the proud parents of a child who’s self-esteem is sufficient that he doesn’t need us promoting his minor scholastic achievements on the back of our car.”
