Thread: Cpu Mod.

  1. #1

    Default Cpu Mod.

After more than a thousand hours, I finally made it.

I am hoping more people will get into 'scratch' modding after seeing my mod.
I know it is more difficult, but it is well worth it.

CPU mag normally keeps a strict 'recognizable pc' stance. I believe that the 'trashcan' mod and mine are the only 'out of the box' mods that have made it to the cover.
If you are interested in showing CPU magazine that more people are interested in ALL kinds of mods, please pick up a copy of this issue!
Should hit news stands in 3 to 4 weeks.
I am hoping to show Chris Trumble (Editor in Chief) that some of us are interested in the 'wookie' mods as well as the standard box mods.

I also have a free downloadable video on my site showing me airbrushing
it in black light. Click on this link and click on the MAD MOD MEDIA link on the left.

Very nice, I also have to applaud your airbrush work. A friend linked me to the mod a few days ago, and I'm still quite impressed.

    Thanks everybody,
The trickiest bit to this whole thing is the coating that covered my
    shoebox cardboard model.
Cool stuff. You can coat anything!
Cut something out of styrofoam and coat it with this stuff, it will
out last you! Indoor... Outdoor... Direct Sunshine? No problem.
Its original use is to coat swimming pools, but I am having a couple
more pieces coated right now for my next mod. I am half way done and expect to finish it in the next three months.

Ok.. I'm throughly disgusted with your talent. One person should not be allowed to be that talented.

In other words, awesome work man!

What year is that S10? Looks like 94-95-ish? I've had a 95 S10 for about 8 years. It's not driveable right now though because I blew a head gasket and also cracked the head. I want to get it back on the road soon though.

Well if you get it fixed, we will have to paint it up for you!!
    Where are you located?

That would be AWESOME! However, it's about a full day drive to Denver from where I am in NE Ohio. Oh, then there's the little thing I have going on called a lack of cash.

Unless I could classify it as a business trip.. I would need about 25 or so people in the area interested in putting up a web page with me to justify that though lol. I would definitely have to bring the wife along if I ever did make it out there. She's been a Broncos fan for over 20 years, and still hard corps.

I'm really enjoying going through your site too. Hats off to you!
