Great work Sabrenoose, on the 3D rendering and the design. Congrats! Everyone else's entries were fantastic too.

I must also give out some kudo's to jdbnsn for jumping in at the last minute to finish the announcement. I got a little busy the last couple of weeks with 3 jobs! (now down to 2). jdbnsn jumped in and made the announcement happen (which I should have posted early last week).
Thanks Jon!

Congratulations SaberNoose! I am awed by the effort you put into this. It looks great. Enjoy your new case! +rep
Everyone did great jobs at this. I am looking forward to trying my hand the next challenge.
I love the ideas and work done here, and congratulations to all of the winners thus far. I have a question, can we submit ideas for challenges? I have had this idea floating around for a while and thought it would make a nice challenge:
Fish Tank:
Case must have a live, viewable, fish swimming in it.
Case must be able to have regular tank maintenace performed on it without disassembley.
Case must weigh less than 40 pounds when complete.
Case must be waterproof... duh.
Case must have filter system.. way of feeding.. way of changing water..
Fish must have ample room to move around.
-------------------------
Case will be judged on:
Overall design,
Origionality,
Complexity,
Mobility,
Ease of Maintenance.
5 categories total, with a max score of 50.
Each categore is judged/voted upon from a scale of 1-10,
1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest possible grades.
We do welcome ideas for cases. The fishtank case is almost an urban myth around here...a lot of people come here claiming to build/have built one.
Then, there's the splitting. Those who, like me, think it's cruel, and those who think it's cool.
Then, the project ALWAYS dies. Maybe it is modder's challenge material.
