hey heynames ash im a apprentice techie working in my local pc/laptop repair shop - hoping to start two mods as soon as i get some cash - one is to my own rig- adding a clear side panel (maybe both sides?) and putting a great big hole in the top for a fan. my other mod is based on buying a cheap laptop from the internet upgrading it and doing something 'unique' to it

What's up guys/girls. Just joining thanks to Mr. Oneslowz28. I'm a regular member on several other overclocking/mod sites but I hear this place is pretty good too. :p
I'm in the middle of revamping my Core i7 system so I'll probably put a worklog up here shortly.
hi people im new to here so hello all. im into my case mods not too expensive ones mind you. can i post pics of my case mod diary of work in progress anywhere on this site. any help would be gre8t thanks.
Hi all, I've always been interested in case design/modding, and now I finally have a site where I can look at people's ideas to get my creative juices flowing (I'm sure it's just the creative ones..). All my life I have been modding my cases, really ghetto-fab, tho, and ATM I am working on one. You all may laugh, but things are much different in a third world country (yes, I live in one of those...they still exist). The mod I am doing right now involves the following - Generic Aluminum case (this one was for about $10), 300w Power Supply, some old motherboard, Intel Celeron 1.2Ghz, 256kbcache, 133fsb, 4x256mb sdram 133, 2x40gb ide hd (hopefully I can get these in raid). The motherboard does not have an AGP slot, so I won't be able to use my Geforce4 MX440... Using the original Heatsink, along with a chassis-mounted cpu fan pulled from a dell optiplex. Using same concept as the Dell, except i'm building my own shroud out of cardboard and tape, and I might end up "turbo-charging" it by adding more cardboard on the bottom and add a fan to push into the sink as well. Will have photos of this in a thread soon, and I might end up showing off my ghetto lighting skills. Should be one of my more fun projects.
